01 / The challenge
The tired living and dining rooms were closed-in and dated, with no focal point and a layout that just didn't work for a busy family.
02 / What we did
- 1Opened up the space and re-plastered throughout
- 2Built a full-height slatted media wall with concealed lighting in the living room
- 3Reworked the dining room: ripped out the old red carpet and laid engineered wood flooring across both rooms
- 4Fitted the dining area with floating shelves and decorated throughout, with a feature wall and modern radiators
03 / The result
Two dated, disconnected rooms reworked into one bright, open-plan living-dining space, a magazine-worthy media wall on one side and a calm, modern dining area on the other. The heart of the home the family now uses every evening.
