01 / The challenge
The garden was overgrown, uneven and hemmed in by tired fencing, so it barely got used from one year to the next.
02 / What we did
- 1Cleared the overgrowth and lifted the old, broken paving
- 2Re-fenced the boundary and levelled the ground
- 3Laid a large porcelain patio across the main space
- 4Built a decked corner with timber cladding and trellis for a private seating spot
03 / The result
A proper outdoor room, part patio, part sun-trap seating corner, that the whole family actually wants to spend time in.
