01 / The challenge
The old side gate was warped, rotten and barely closing, leaving the side return insecure and letting the whole frontage down.
02 / What we did
- 1Removed the old gate and prepped the brick archway
- 2Built a solid ledged-and-braced timber gate to fit the opening exactly
- 3Hung it on heavy-duty galvanised hinges with a secure lock
- 4Treated and painted it in a deep matt black to finish
03 / The result
A secure, made-to-measure gate that closes cleanly every time and gives the entrance real kerb appeal.
